- Your current driver’s license or other government-issued photo ID.
- Your glasses or contact lenses, if you wear them for driving.
- A list of any medications you are currently taking.
How long will the appointment take?
The assessment itself is typically straightforward and efficient, usually taking between 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

No. As this is a required report for a third party (ICBC) and not considered a medically necessary service, the cost is not covered by the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP). Please contact our clinic for information on the current fee.
What does the medical exam involve?
The exam includes a review of your medical history and a basic physical examination to assess your fitness for driving, based on provincial standards. This may include checks on your vision, hearing, blood pressure, and overall physical and cognitive health.
Do you submit the completed form to ICBC for me?
We will fully complete and sign your official medical report during your appointment. You are then responsible for submitting the completed form to ICBC. We will ensure you have the correct documentation before you leave.
I have a Blue (or Yellow) form. Can your doctors complete it?
Yes. Our licensed healthcare providers are experienced in completing both the blue and yellow versions of the ICBC Driver’s Medical Examination report.
